Tinuvin-1130 Usage
UV1130 is a kind of benzotriazole UV absorber used in paint industry. This product can easily emulsify, especially suitable for water soluble systems. UV-1130 has the properties of high temperature resistance and extraction resistance, and is very competent to high weather resistant fields such as automobile paint, industrial paint. In addition, it can perfectly protect light sensitive base materials such as wood. In toluene solution, depth 1 cm, the maximum absorption wave length is 346 nm.
UV1130 can be used in combination with a hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) such as LS292. These synergistic combinations impart superior paint protection against gloss reduction, cracking, blistering, delamination and color change.
Thedosageisrecommendedtobe1.0%~3.0%(based on solid resin weight).
In addition 0.5-2%LS 292 can be added.
