High-Temperature Engineering Plastics Whitening : The defining chemical advantage of OB-1 is its extraordinary thermal stability during high-temperature polymer processing (melting point peaks at 359°C). This renders it an irreplaceable whitening agent for engineering polymers requiring aggressive compounding or injection molding matrices, such as Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET/Polyester), Polycarbonate (PC), Polyamides (PA/Nylon), ABS, and Polystyrene (PS). It works by capturing invisible UV wavelengths and converting them into a visible blue-violet fluorescence emission spectra, complementing the inherent yellow tint of polymers to deliver a brilliant, ultra-white finish.
Polyester Filament & Staple Fiber Spun-Dyeing: Heavily utilized in the synthetic fiber sector, directly mixed into molten polyester matrices prior to extrusion spinning, granting apparel and fabrics permanent, wash-fast whiteness parameters.
