Hexahydro-4-methylphthalic anhydride Usage
High-End Epoxy Resin Hardener (Core Absolute Application): Serves as one of the premier liquid anhydride curing agents across modern electronic packaging and composite engineering industries.
Electronic Encapsulation & LED Optics: Due to its light color, ultralow viscosity, and outstanding thermal stability, dielectric properties, weatherability, and yellowing resistance, it is extensively used in LED encapsulants, electronic potting compounds, and high-voltage insulators.
Composites & Filament Winding: Deployed in manufacturing fiber-reinforced polymers (FRP), gas-tight insulated pipes, wind turbine blades, and Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) resins for motor coils. Compared to amine hardeners, anhydride systems offer longer pot life, lower exothermicity, and superior mechanical toughness.
Weather-Resistant Polyester & Coatings Modifier: Utilized to synthesize high-performance specialty polyester resins, alkyd resins, and crosslinking modifiers for UV-curable coatings.
