Application:?3-Bromo-1-(3-chloro-2-pyridinyl)-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxylic acid can be used as an intermediate of chlorantraniliprole. The Chinese trade name of chlorantraniliprole is Kangkuan. It is a new type of highly effective and low-toxic o-formylaminobenzamide insecticide developed by DuPont in the United States. It has good insecticidal activity even at very low concentrations and is particularly effective against Lepidoptera insects. Its chemical name is 3-bromo-N-{4-chloro-2-methyl-6-[(methylamino)carbonyl]phenyl}-1-(3-chloro-2-pyridinyl)-1H-pyridine-5-amide.
