Triethylenetetramine Usage

  • Epoxy Resin Curing Agent:

    • Widely used as a room-temperature curing agent for liquid epoxy resins in adhesives, floor coatings, laminates, and potting compounds. Provides excellent mechanical strength and chemical resistance.

  • Polyamide Resins & Corrosion Inhibitors:

    • Key raw material for reacting with fatty acids to manufacture polyamide resins (for inks and hot-melt adhesives) and imidazoline corrosion inhibitors in oilfield and industrial water treatment.

  • Chelating Agent & Chemical Intermediates:

    • Used as a multidentate chelating ligand for heavy metal ions in mining and plating, as well as an intermediate for asphalt emulsifiers, lubricating oil additives, and wet-strength paper resins.
