Sodium stannate Usage
lkaline Tin & Alloy Electroplating (Core Industrial Application): Serves as the premier alkaline electroplating salt across modern metal finishing industries.
Electrotinning & Alloy Deposition: Widely used for the continuous tin plating of electronic components, copper strips, and steel sheets; it offers excellent throwing power (uniformity of plating) and produces dense coatings that are resistant to dendritic crystal formation.
Textile & Dyeing Industry (Mordant & Weighting Agent): Utilized as an effective mordant in cotton and silk printing/dyeing; functions as a fabric weighting agent and flame retardant in silk processing.
Hydrogen Peroxide Stabilizer: Added in trace amounts to industrial hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) matrix to sequester catalytic heavy metal impurities, preventing hazardous peroxide decomposition during storage.
Specialty Catalysts & Glass Surface Treatment: Handled as a precursor for tin-based chemical catalysts, ceramic pigments, and hot-end glass container coatings to improve mechanical impact resistance.

Sodium stannate Storage
Must be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated dedicated chemical raw material warehouse.
Keep containers hermetically sealed and sheltered from ambient humidity.
Avoid joint storage or contact with strong acids, powerful oxidizers, or reactive metals.
