Polyaniline Usage

Anticorrosion Coatings: A component of anticorrosion coatings, particularly on steel and metal surfaces. PANI forms a passivating film through its electrochemical activity, effectively inhibiting metal corrosion.

Electronic Devices: Used in the manufacture of highly sensitive gas sensors and biosensors. Its electrical conductivity allows it to be used in the manufacture of composite materials that absorb electromagnetic waves for electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding.

Energy Storage: Used as a high-performance electrode material in supercapacitors to increase their energy and power density. Used as a conductive additive or active material in certain rechargeable batteries.
