N-(n-Butyl)thiophosphoric triamide Usage

High-Efficiency Urea Urease Inhibitor (Core Agricultural Application): It is the most widely used and effective high-performance nitrogen fertilizer enhancer/soil urease inhibitor in global agriculture. It is highly efficient and non-toxic, causes no adverse effects on the soil, and is naturally biodegradable.

  • Inhibiting Ammonia Volatilization and Improving Nitrogen Use Efficiency: After application to the soil, urea rapidly hydrolyzes into ammonium carbonate under the action of soil urease and converts into ammonia gas, resulting in volatilization losses (which can reach 30%–50%). NBPT competitively binds to the active site of soil urease, blocking or slowing the rate of urea hydrolysis and extending the hydrolysis process by 7–14 days; this significantly reduces ammonia volatilization and increases nitrogen fertilizer use efficiency by 20%–30%.
  • Application in Stabilized Fertilizers and Compound Fertilizers: Widely used in stabilized urea, liquid nitrogen fertilizers (UAN solutions), and urea-containing compound or slow/controlled-release fertilizers.

Carbon Reduction, Environmental Protection, and Crop Safety: Reduces atmospheric pollution and soil acidification caused by ammonia volatilization, while preventing crop damage (such as seedling or root burn) resulting from excessively high local ammonia concentrations caused by rapid urea hydrolysis.

Storage

Must be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated dedicated warehouse.

Keep away from heat sources and open flames; suggested storage temperatures should be maintained below 20°C (preferably cold, desiccated conditions).

Keep containers hermetically sealed, nitrogen-blanketed, and protected from moisture.
