Myristic acid Application:
Myristic acid is also called myristanoic acid. Those crystallized from methanol are white crystalline or leaf-shaped waxy solids. Has a faint waxy and milky aroma. Found naturally in fish oil, coconut oil, babassu oil and cottonseed oil.
Myristic acid is mainly used as an additive for surfactants, spices, lubricants, coatings, printing inks, metal processing and spice solvents.
