Isothiazolinones Usage
Industrial circulating water and papermaking bactericide and algaecide: It is the most widely used non-oxidizing broad-spectrum bactericide in modern industrial water treatment. It is widely used in cooling tower circulating water, oilfield injection water, paper pulp, metalworking cutting fluids, and large-scale printing and dyeing washing systems, effectively preventing the growth of biological slime.
- Principle: The active sulfur groups in its molecular structure can easily penetrate the cell walls of microorganisms, rapidly and irreversibly inhibiting and killing bacteria, fungi, and algae by disrupting cell proteins and thermodynamic enzyme chains.
- Advantages: High effectiveness, low toxicity, no pollution, easy to mix with other formulations, wide pH range, and easily biodegrades into non-toxic and pollution-free substances after dilution.
