Usage
Traditional Photography and Plate Making:
Used in cyanotype and platinum/palladium type printing. As a photosensitizer, it forms the famous Prussian blue image upon exposure to ultraviolet light.
Metal Surface Treatment:
Used as an anodizing dye for aluminum and its alloys. Widely used in architectural aluminum profiles and decorative parts.
Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Etching:
Used in the electronics industry as an etchant or surface cleaner for certain special copper foil surfaces.
Chemical Analysis and Spectrometers:
Used in laboratories for the precise measurement of luminous flux and radiant intensity of ultraviolet and visible light.
Textile Printing and Dyeing and Catalysts:
Used as a mordant in the printing and dyeing industry, and as a mild catalyst in organic synthesis reactions.
