Camphene application:

Amphene is a bicyclic monoterpene.

It is almost insoluble in water, but very soluble in common organic solvents. It is prone to volatilization at room temperature and has a pungent odor.

It is a secondary component of many essential oils, such as turpentine, tar, camphor oil, lemongrass oil, orange blossom, ginger oil, and valerian. In industry, the more common α- Catalytic isomerization production of pinene. Camphene is used to prepare spices and as a food additive for seasoning. It was used as fuel for lamps in the 19th century due to its explosive limitations
