Benzophenone-3 Application:
Broad-spectrum cosmetic sunscreen: A broad-spectrum ultraviolet (UV) absorber. Widely used in sunscreens, sun lotions, foundations, lipsticks, and anti-aging skincare products. In addition to its sun protection function, it is also frequently used as a light stabilizer in various transparent bottled daily chemical products (such as perfumes, shampoos, and shower gels) to prevent fading, delamination, or deterioration due to UV exposure.
Polymer UV absorber: Widely used in plastics such as PVC, PET, PS, and acrylic resins, effectively preventing aging, yellowing, and cracking of polymer materials due to photo-oxidation; also widely added to high-grade automotive paints, outdoor coatings, and various packaging materials.
