Benzonitrile Usage

1.Used as a pesticide, dye intermediate and solvent antioxidant

2.Used as an intermediate in advanced coatings such as phenyl melamine.

3.It is also an intermediate for synthetic pesticides, aliphatic amines and benzoic acid, and can be used as a solvent for nitrile rubbers, resins, polymers and coatings.

4.Used for dyeing cotton and cotton/cotton blend fabrics.
