Ammonium Polyphosphate Usage
High-efficiency halogen-free intumescent flame retardant: Currently the most widely used green halogen-free inorganic flame retardant in the world. Widely used in:
Fire-retardant coatings: Ultra-thin and intumescent fire-retardant coatings for steel structures, as well as flame-retardant coatings for wood and fabrics.
Engineering plastics and rubber: Polyolefins (PE, PP), polyurethane (PU) flexible/rigid foams, epoxy resins, rubber, and wire and cable materials.
High-concentration liquid fertilizers: Widely used in agriculture as a core raw material for manufacturing high-end clear liquid fertilizers, foliar fertilizers, and liquid compound fertilizers. Easily absorbed by plants and does not readily react with calcium and magnesium ions in the soil to precipitate.
Others: Used as a tissue conditioner, emulsifier, stabilizer, chelating agent, yeast nutrient, pickling aid, and water-retaining agent. Used in cheese production.
