Fixative Agent in High-Grade Fragrances and Flavors: Due to its high boiling point and low volatility, it is used as an excellent fixative (solvent) in perfumes and fragrances, significantly prolonging the fragrance’s lasting power.

Pharmaceutical and Vaccine Adjuvants: Used as a topical antibacterial agent in the pharmaceutical industry; and as a safe and effective preservative additive in the production of various vaccines.

Fine Industrial Solvent and Penetrant: Used industrially as a film-forming aid in water-based coatings, a high-quality solvent for ballpoint pen inks and inkjet printer inks, and a dye solvent and powerful penetrant in textile printing and dyeing. As a dyeing solvent, it can improve the solubility of PVC plasticizers, enhance the cleaning performance of printed circuit boards, and improve the surface treatment properties of plastics.
