Methyltriacetoxysilane Usage
Sealant curing crosslinking agent: Widely used as a crosslinking agent (curing agent) for one-component acidic glass sealants and other sealants. It can undergo a hydrolytic reaction with trace amounts of moisture in the air, promoting the crosslinking and curing of organosilicon polymers into elastic silicone rubber.
Surface modifier and adhesion promoter: Used for surface treatment of materials such as glass, ceramics, and metals to improve the adhesion strength between organosilicon coatings or adhesives and the substrate.
