Poly(methylhydrosiloxane) Usage
Polymethylhydrogensiloxane is used as a mild and stable reducing agent in organic chemistry, which can easily transfer hydride to metal centers and other reducible functional groups.
1. Used as waterproof, anti-adhesive and foam-leveling agent for textiles, rubber, leather, paper, and building materials, and cross-linking agent for chain cross-linked products.
2. It is a raw material for preparing block copolymers.
3. Under the action of metal salt catalysts, it can cross-link into a film at low temperature, forming a waterproof film on the surface of various materials. It can be used as a waterproof agent for various materials such as fabrics, glass, ceramics, paper, leather, metal, cement, marble, etc.; especially fabric waterproofing.
4. Methyl hydrogen silicone oil emulsion and methyl hydroxy silicone oil emulsion are used together to waterproof and maintain the breathability of fabrics, and can improve the tear strength, friction strength and anti-fouling properties of fabrics, and improve the feel and stitching properties of fabrics. In addition, it is used as an anti-adhesive release agent and cross-linking agent for paper.
